Look. Does the movie end with Idris Elba punching it out with a lion? Yes. Yes, it does.
I'll tell y'all what. That was an enjoyable movie. It's about a man who recently lost his wife to cancer, trying to reconnect with his daughters by visiting their late mother's home. It quickly turns into a pretty intense survival movie, and I enjoyed it quite a bit. Allow your disbelief to be suspended a tiny bit and you've got one heck of an enjoyable movie.
I mean, come on. Who doesn't want to see a hyper-intelligent, vengeful, mass-killing lion that has been shot, crushed by a jeep, and set on fire, while somehow still in tip-top shape duke it out with a man just trying to protect his two kids?
