Loved the show and almost everything about it. Casting was mostly good. They casted Wednesday PERFECTLY but I feel Gomez and dearest Morticia got disrespected as characters. Of course the show is called Wednesday so I get they dialed down everyone else to make Wednesday shine more but still, they should have at least tried to capture the essence of Gomez and Morticia. Gomez don't seem like the lively, enthusiastic, adventuring swordsman type and Morticia doesn't have enough slow-moving, mysterious queen energy. The Addams in this version aren't as spooky as I'd hoped for but close enough. Everything else is great though. I was sucked in after Wednesday's "Paint It Black" cello cover and the music choice is great throughout the season. I love the show and can't wait for season 2!

Wednesday

I smiled the whole time getting to see the Friends gang back together but the whole thing felt rushed and empty. They never dig into why the cast never got back together to hang (except once) nor addressed any real questions before parading other celebrities like a grandpa dangling keys in front of an infant. Lady Gaga visibly bothered and annoyed Lisa Kudrow (nearly made me nauseous) while playing smelly cat on guitar. What does lady Gaga or Justin Bieber have to do with Friends? Favorite part though was when Lisa Kudrow mentioned that the "different" kids still need to grow up and move on to the next phase of adulthood.

Captures the best parts of gameplay from NfS Most Wanted, NfS Carbon, and NfS Prostreet but combined with the storyline of a lesser, early Fast and Furious movie. Honestly, I skip all the cutscenes but the game is a lot of fun. Difficulty settings allow you to warm up with easy mode then adjust whenever you want when you get used to the controls. Glitchy every once in a blue moon but not too bad and it's tolerable. By glitchy, I mean cop cars will be spawned right next to you during high heat cop chases just when you're about to escape and some decals don't show up on your cars after putting them on like the spiderweb decal doesn't show up on the actual car while driving but I don't really care about that. Worth the buy if you enjoyed NfS most wanted and carbon.

This book is so well written! All of the pieces laid out in the beginning slowly come together to a crescendo of horror that bleeds into the next book. The level of description, explanation, and action are expertly balanced and the word choice is flawless. It's like a MUCH scarier World War Z mixed with Resident Evil, the movie I am Legend, the show Revolution, and The Walking Dead. The only fictional thing is the antagonist and monsters but everything else is a realistic reaction to it. I haven't been this gripped by a novel in a long time so this is very refreshing! It's hard to put down the book once the separate characters' stories begin weaving together as an apocalyptic plague of horror begins building momentum. The story gets coherently complex and the war grows to epic scales. I highly recommend this work!
