Some are complaining of how Rude Hillary is to everyone. I have worked with several designers and Guess What? They are all rude to some extent. They are creative people who have an Ego in their field. They do what they want for the most part and not what the clients want. Look as many of their albums of work and some all look the same. Kenneth Brown to me was the Best Designer HGTV had but his show is long gone. As far as who wins Hillary or David, David is at a severe disadvantage. They should at least stage the home he is trying to get the clients to buy to make the game more fair. Often times it is the Design of Hillary ( Which she does do a good job at) that is the focal point, not the actual house. In other words you are looking at a Redo to its finest vs a house that can be nice after a redo- Davids Showings. It should be more of a fair game and the show should at least stage the house that they are considering to purchase as well as the redo by Hillary. It is all entertainment. As far as prices it depends on Location, Location , Location. In LA for example the prices for remodeling are much higher than say Phoenix. Lived in both and redid homes in both. LA is very expensive to purchase a home and redo one. Phoenix is much much more affordable. LA offers more so you pay for it.
