I know everyone says this but really, the book is better. This movie would be perfectly fine if they didn't pretend it was anything like the book. It's really not. The movie is a mediocre sci fi where they copy pasted the names of the characters and replaced them with one dimensional tropes with predictable character development. This book is not one that can be well adapted into film so it was kind of set up to be a disappointment to fans of the book from the beginning. I'm sorry to any actors getting hate, this was not your fault my dears, I hope you all are doing well. My grievances are with those who conceived this movie. Please Disney, if you're going to change the source material this much, just go all the way and make a fully original story, don't try to turn a Wrinkle in Time into something it's not. I know you're capable of it.
