The show had potential, but to outshine the original characters from Naruto serious setbacks were introduced. The most severe one of them all is the ability to absorb chakra and chakra - based attacks , it was only possible in Naruto by a handful of people with very good reasonings , in Boruto on the other hand machines are doing that , they basically replaced the importance of rinnegan and Naruto and especially Sasuke are far too weak , it's like they had no growth since the fourth great ninja war .Naruto had developed one of the most complex ninjutsu in just his teenage and Sasuke was a genius to begin with , then how come they have deteriorated in lieu of getting stronger and every character is heavily influenced by their predecessor like they have no character of their own and many side characters like lee and shikamaru have downright been wasted.

Utter nonsense, the creator of this series thought dragon ball is all about transformation and powerful villains, though it is true to some extent but overly dragon ball lets fans connect standards are set and then broken in a fantastic way , all new transformation holds a very crucial milestone, but in this series the explanation to all things is " that guy did that" or even worse no explanation at all. There are pelthora of plot holes , lack of character development and a Convincable plaot most of all. A FREINDLY ADVICE TO THOSE WHO ARE WATCHING DBZ & DBS SINCE CHILDHOOD, DON'T WATCH THIS YOU MIGHT END UP TAKING A BREAK FROM THE ORIGINAL SERIES TOO, WHICH IS PRETTY AWESOME BY THE WAY.
