Very well made. All of Poe’s stories pulled together under one stand alone story. Right up to the last preach ending.

Poorly shot. So many characters miscast. Two characters who caused the murders go unpunished. A child psychopath gets to walk away. It could have been so easily better

A terrible movie. Racist. Bigoted. An insulting stereotypical portrait of a Mexican family. A caricature. Actual lines. “ at last we have our own super hero”. Elderly grandmother mows down henchmen with a gigantic cartoonish gun. “ Die Imperialist scum”. Hollywood seems to have milked all it can out of black oppression and moved on to brown people. Their words not mine

Five minutes in and the gas lighting hasn’t stopped. It’s truly bigot laden rubbish. White fellas came all the way from the other side of the word to kill off the “black fellas” by dropping off 11 vampires before colonising. So much so that vampires will only take the blood of “First Nations people” and apparently all vampires are white

This movie should be a cult classic

Disappointing Lost me when Jeff Goldblum said " The human species has no more right to be on this planet than any other living organism" completely ignoring the fact that these prehistoric animals were artificially introduced and now destroying the natural ecosystem The movie would have been much better with less preaching an more action
