I've never bought anyone as daisy tbh, but I don't think women were the authors thing LOL.
Or he was a piggy of his time. there's just nothing to work with there. And yet she's supposedly the storys pivot. ( she isnt. )
Gatsby too is purposely vague but actually allowed some character development.
I LOVED THIS MASTERPIECE OF FILM
Yes I know re the anachronism of the score etc.
But OMG the costumes, the settings the sheer luxury to recreate the OTT 1920s before it's great fall.
The real 1920s were nothing like this of course but OMG don't we wish they were?
