I thought it was excellent! It is a great blend of not-too-distant science “fiction,” science, and policy. Robinson starts off with a deadly human-induced heat wave in India and quickly goes to the fix: The Ministry for the Future. The Ministry is fictional but in reality the Paris Agreement’s Article 18, Clause 1 allows the Conference of the Parties (COP) to create new “Subsidiary Bodies for implementation of the agreement.” Robinson’s climate change book is a tour de force with a pragmatic thread running throughout.
