While the movie itself may not be a masterpiece and does have some plotholes, it gives food for thought.
True horror and thriller fans may notice some scenes/character's personalities remind them of other movies, but that is in my eyes a great thing. Mixing something familiar with a fresh concept is a good way to go.
Of course, one cannot run away from classic stereotypes: a shallow blonde, nice guy who is in fact a psycho, main characters are( to be) a broken family and movie industry's favorite, sex. Thank God it was not explicit for once, only implied and actually relevant to the plot.
Some scenes do feel unfinished and like they were just let be so that the movie could have a longer run time, but overall, it is a good, immersing movie to watch.
