I'm giving this 5-stars just to counteract all of the duplicate 1-star reviews copied and pasted under different names. I stopped counting after ten duplicates. Then there are the 5-star reviews from professionals on the payroll. This review thread is a joke.

The script was terrible. The dialogue made even good actors look bad. Plus they changed too much of the plot, and not for the better. I couldn't get past the first half hour, which is an automatic one star.

This is the ultimate classic. It has been my favorite movie since it first came out on TV in 1965. Unlike so many movies that are best remembered, but disappointing years later, "Rapture" still comes with so much suspense, beauty and raw emotion. The acting is impeccable, and it speaks to every age. I was only nine years old, when I first saw it, and it has haunted me since. I wasn't able to find it again for many years. I now have a DVD and a poster on my living room wall.

Lousy screenwriting. I got through about two-thirds of it and couldn't finish. Life is too short.

Steven Segal meets Chucky and the Chocolate Factory. I honestly didn't think I'd like it, but...Nic Cage...yeah, so I had to try it. It was so much fun! May need to watch it again.

I love intelligent movies, and the reviews promised this was that. I was confused bored, frustrated, and I'm still angry that I wasted my time.

I was so looking forward to this show, and I am devastated by my reaction to it. I've tried twice, but I can't even get through the second episode. It is alternately boring, with choppy progression, sudden scares, and gratuitous sex scenes. I struggled to make sense of it. I adore Stephen King, but sitting through this show is just too painful.
