This is one of the underrated movies of Tom and Nicole; the spirit from the story is far ahead of its time. By watching this in 2024, 22 years after its initial release, there are so much to talk about - the determination and persistence of young a woman pursuing her dreams, the support and understanding from her right partner, her wisdom and vision when it comes to decision making and financial planning, the resilience and determination from early immigrants who changed US history, and of course, the love and affection from two souls in hardship. I always feel if Titanic didn’t sink, this film would be the perfect happy ending for Jack and Rose ♥️
