Longlegs was god awful. I didn’t care about anything going on enough to be bothered by the fact that none of it made sense. Nicolas Cage’s performance was almost as bad as his thick latex makeup. The FBI seemed woefully undersourced throughout. The dialogue was stoked to the brim with clichés (especially from Blair Underwood’s Agent Carter). Maika Monroe’s Lee Harker would’ve been okay if most of her performance hadn’t consistent of hyperventilating. (Did I mention the terrible dime store latex makeup?)
