Don't watch, it only leads to frustration and disappointment with the direction the story goes. You'll like it until you watched it all then you'll wish that you never did. The overall premise of the show is great, and character development is real good. The show has many mysteries that keep you watching hoping to eventually find the answer, when you eventually do understand the overall premise of the show it's actually illogical. The motivations for various villains, mysteries and conflicts of the show don't have logical reasons. Around end of season 4 at the point of a ship exploding the story becomes obviously poorly written as if they are making it up as they go along. There is multiple poorly executed time travel elements, a overall backstory that is illogical and contradictory. There is many nonsensical events and elements in the show that can't even be explained within the sci-fi, mythological premise. Half of the final season is very dull and ultimately irrelevant to the story as is revealed in the final episode, which is disappointing and nonsensical in it's self.

Its fundamentally the best and most realistic shooter you can play on Xbox It has and likely still has bugs and issues with trolls although the developers are progressively making changes to Improve the game and genuinely take on board feedback from players. Biggest drawback is the playerbase. Toxic behaviors are very common and the in game vote kick system often enables this. There is teamkilling, destroying/stealing your vehicle, verbal abuse, a decent percentage of the players simply want to be as annoying and inconsiderate as possible.

It's fundamentally a real good survival game. Although it is quite simply made, animals etc are quite janky. The islands are all reasonably similar with only 2 distinct variations. I would give it a higher score but there is a real bad bug in it that stops you from deconstructing parts of your raft. Being able to change your raft is quite integral to the gameplay. I stopped playing it twice for this reason, second time I presumed it was fixed in a update but it hasn't. If they fixed that and gave it more diverse islands I'd give it 5 star
