Pagglait is a heartfelt watch like many other family drama comedy, very well passing the concept of death and love.
Sandhya is a young widow. Her husband died five months after their arranged wedding. Their house is full of relatives and mourning people showing up, some of whom are grief stricken while some others faking it. Starting of the movie Sandhya was seen to be lying on a bed, yawning, scrolling through all the comments and condolences on a facebook post. There wasn't enough time between the couple for love to bloom in consequence Sandhya could not fake her feelings which she did not possessed for her belated husband, while making family members to think that she's gone insane, mad, had PTSD after the loss of her beloved husband. Astik, a character we did not know about, as how he looks like, is portrayed by what his family members talk about. His family is dependent on him, not very much liked by his brother, emotionally distant from his wife, loyal and the only bread earner to the family.
Only after Sandhya finds a photo of Astik's ex-lover, vagueness in her thoughts now makes her desires to know more about Astik after he's gone. About his habits, persona, romance, likes, dislikes. She wants to have the feel of love she deserved from her husband which she eventually find around and inside her. Love is beyond everything and everyone. You become free when you taste the true essence of it. Beautiful wonderful movie which is truly going to leave your heart sparkling and your lips smiling in the end.
