Larry Saavedra

As a Vanagon owner and VW enthusiast, I was amazed at the amount of time they spent on the van... it had star billing! Few movies ever depict the automotive sub-culture correctly, but this one nailed it, truthfully telling the story of its quirks, troubles, and liveability on the road. The premise was solid, and while I believe the ending could have been told differently I recommend this film.

The only savior of this movie was the excellent use of staging the scenes. The script was awful. There was no redeeming value other than beauty isn't everything. Very disappointed in the writers who threw everything at it except a crafted plot that made you feel good about watching it.
