Excellent movie, dramatic, realistic and the scenery was awesome, but I did notice some subtle discrepancies. When they mentioned distance, they were talking in miles. The UK uses the metric system. At the bridge scene where he was being shot at, the bullets were coming from the opposite direction of where he shot the German soldier who was shooting at him. But most noticeable was that the letter was still legible after he fell in the water and drifted down the current for quite a while.

It was interesting to see how these actors portrayed the ones in the series 20 years later. I got a kick of the Silvio character, but that’s where my enthusiasm ends. It was totally unrealistic. There is no way a man (I don’t care what color he is) can walk into a mob joint, shoot up the place and live to talk about it.
