A fantastic homage to the western movie genre. Mads Mikkelsen was brilliant as always.... he brings such intensity and emotion to any role he plays which is why he's probably Denmark's most well known actor outside of his homeland. Eva Green was excellent as the silent sister in law of the villain, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, who played his role to perfection. And Jonathan Pryce was superb, as always, as the obsequious mayor of the town being terrorised by the villain, Delarue, and his gang. The cinematography was beautiful in spite of some rather obvious CGI to recreate the look of the wild frontier of the American west. I highly recommend it.

Wow... what a powerful film. I found it incredibly moving in so many respects and the subject matter is very relevant for what's happening in the world regarding refugees. Hugo Weaving was outstanding as was Andrew Luri, and Hayley McElhinney and Bolude Watson were also superb in their roles. The script was excellent... always the backbone of any really good movie. The pauses in many of the scenes said so much more than words ever could. In my opinion this is Hugo's best film.... he deserves an award for it. I believe it's going to be on Stan very soon.... I highly recommend it... in fact, don't miss this excellent Ben Lawrence movie.
