As a longtime fan (since I was about 8 so almost 50 years) my take is if you're a fan of Godzilla, Kaiju movies you won't be disappointed. Is it perfect? No and the storyline, arc is a bit muddled at times but when it comes together it works and works well. I appreciate the storyline trying to tie-in Kaiju history with some of the characters. I laughed, cried, had chills and goosebumps. You can't please everyone but for those who appreciate and accept what Godzilla and Kaiju are it delivers more often than not. Can't wait to see it again.
