How do you describe a film like this? it feels terribly disjointed as a sequel to the previous instalment in the franchise just jumping in without any connection between the end of the last film and the start of this one.
I have seen many reviewers are tactfully describing this film as "if not great, a roller coaster of emotions" and i can see their point, however i didn't quite understand how this helped the film when the characters seem to jumping emotionally all over the shop from one moment to the next. To me this hurt any attempts at building an atmosphere in many of the scenes.
Cameos.... it was sort of nice to see old characters however it just felt quite tired and having a previous villain from the franchise as the main "boss" just felt lazy.
