I like the show for entertainment value. It doesn't help me to invest, because the companies are not publicly listed, and despite an advertised opportunity to do so, almost all members of the public, including myself as a CPA, are not equipped to deal with the many legal and management issues involved in being minority investors. I find that I respect most of the investors in Shark Tank. However, I don't like or respect Kevin O'Leary. He seems to only care about money, and not about human beings or any issue other than money. My advice is to stay far away from the opportunity Kevin advertised to invest in small companies, unless you are part of the less than 1% of us who are experienced in doing so.
