Her mother has bipolar... She took lithium carbonate for that.Thats explained why sometimes she is too happy... Wear bright red jacket..and there are also scenes where she is depressed. Sleeping in the dark.. Not bothering about the hungry child. Her mother probably left because she felt too much guilt during her depressed mood.
