If you're hesitant to see Wonka because Gene or Johnny has a special place in your heart, just go and see it. Wonka finds the perfect balance between the old and the new and nods it's head humbly to it's predecessors. Timothee Chalamet is bright and whimsical and rose to the challenge beautifully.
