Mark Wahlberg's best film, with excellent acting by Reid Miller, who plays the role of Jadin Bell. A very emotive script by Larry McMurtry and Diana Ossana, the writing partnership behind the screenplay of Brokeback Mountain.
Just so sad that it's all a true story.
Bullying, homophobia, discrimination and exclusion on grounds of people's sexuality - just like the same based on race, gender, religion, physical or mental disabilities and all the rest - should absolutely not be tolerated or seen as being acceptable in today's modern and transparent world.
I'd have thought this movie would have found a much wider audience. It should be compulsory viewing material for high schools and youth groups.
