This was honestly terrible. It was boring and i got a headache just reading it. Leo is plainer then a saltine cracker and the characters have no story of they’re own? Hillari is popular, for what reason? They are all generic. Stargirl: An attention seeker, supposed to be non conformity but all she does it play a ukulele and sing Happy Birthday to people who none of them have ever enjoyed, she dances in the rain? What a non conformist! Shes insufferable and her existence is a threat to a good life. And like the sentence “She doesn’t wear makeup like other girls.” Whats wrong with makeup? Are you void of joy and creativity? And can we stop talking about her eyes for a minute at LEAST. And when she grabbed his collar and dragged him? How about you actually TALK and not grab like a toddler. She doesn’t respect boundaries and sang Hillari Happy birthday, sure, not to Hillari. But can Stargirl actually listen to someone’s requests? Birthdays are supposed to be a happy day for one. But Stargirl thinks its all about HER. The book is just about her and how she looks and or acts. I do NOT think you should read this book, its terrible and you should save yourself.
