I pre-order the Mercy Thompson novels in hard back from the local book store, but this one was so disappointing, I'm not doing that in the future. It was like a bunch of intro stories in the beginning mostly concluded in one sentence in the end. It was a short story. It didn't have much of any action with the well developed characters. Adam and Mercy go to Montana, but don't interact or see the Marrok's pack at all.
