We went to the Main Event in Grand Prairie, TX and arrived at approximately 1:40pm. We paid over $200 and was put on the waiting list at approximately 1:51pm. They told us that our waiting time for bowling was an hour. We sat at a table next to the bowling area. After an hour we went and checked for our status. They told us it would be another hour. This continued every hour. We finally went up after over 3 hours and spoke to Manager Avery. He even told us it would be another hour. I told him half our party left and we were getting ready to leave. We paid for our shoes for bowling and couldn’t even get a refund. As we were leaving, we got a text saying our bowling lanes were ready. The manager didn’t even know that our name was coming up. This was a terrible experience. It just appeared as we were being discriminated against our race. Only African Americans were bowling. During our wait I constantly saw empty lanes.
