Wolfpac

It's an interesting take on the slasher horror by turning it into a slow-burn art house horror. For about 85% of the film the viewer follows the antagonist Johnny after he awakens when someone off camera takes a locket from his resting place. Much of the movie is just watching Johnny walk untill he happens across one of his victims. There's not a lot of action but there's some good gore and one really inventive kill scene. This is great for a stand alone movie but not sure it would work as a franchise even though a sequel as been announced. Not sure what else could be done with this concept other then add more victims and carnage.

It was ok, but surely no man or mother is truly this weak and accomadating when they sense their loved ones are in danger. When the protaganist victims are leaving at the end why leave the main road in an unfamiliar area? I'm not sure if this is a plot hole or a sit-up for a sequel but what about the friends the protaganists told they were going to visit these people they met on vacation and barely knew? I was expecting the police to show-up because the couple hadn't been heard from in few days. I hope the US version is better, but it's Blumhouse so probably not.
