I love the Beatles. As a doco, this was a depressing loop of instrument-noodling and boring nonsense conversations. Ringo's continual chair-sleeping mirrored my feelings exactly. I had the same experience with the LOTR series, so I'm guessing I don't gel that well with Peter Jackson's direction. I don't get it. With a shave, it could've been great.
