Reading the reviews so far, I can see that people either really loved it or really hated it. I can totally understand how someone could dislike this movie due to the pacing and how it wasn’t very alike to the other two in terms of horror, but I generally loved the film. I think there is so much to take away from it as someone who also suffers with a life changing illness. You live for certain things, even such simple things like pizza, which was the main driver for our main character. I think others dealing with medical issues in their life will really understand the meaning and character of this movie, which was not only to show the horrors of what the beginning was like in the city, but also the friendship and satisfaction of life when you are suffering from a illness that has no known end. But she finds solitude and acceptance in her life through the end of the world and I think that’s what really sets this film apart.
