The policeman character , Danny is so unethical. For starters he is working on a case with a personal involvement and secondly he shares confidential information with his friends. This information is used for his friends to become vigilantes. The social worker character is a criminal despite how the show justifies it. By discouraging his friend Britnay from seeing the police over her involvement with Newman (kidnapper) he prolonged the agony of his captors and this caused her death. Humans have flaws and it is not hard to overlook them but each of these characters are so flawed they are unlikeable. The actors do a reasonable job but the script is the problem.

Nothing in this movie is good. Such a waste of a good cast. Julia Roberts character, Mercy, is so grumpy and bad mannered she would not be desirable. Why would a young female scooter rider flirt with a middle aged man while her boyfriend was looking seethingly? Gone are 2 hours of my life which I will never get back. Watchable only as a girls'night in, as long as there is plenty of sparkling wine and frivolous chit chat.
