I really enjoy the game. The strides they've taken in improving the synthesis mechanics are amazing, and I love getting to see Psaro's backstory. However, the means of travel is just a teleporter. You literally get teleported straight to the arena desk, and that is all of the main city you get to see. Castles in the game teleport you straight to the throne room, and that's all you get to see. It doesn't feel like a world. None of the towns are actually towns. It feels like they put the absolute bare minimum into making any environment that isn't the monster locations. Those have good areas, but the majority are just Islands in these weird voids. The areas qnd places just don't feel like they're actually lived in, and I hate that.
