I’ve read the book, seen the first movie, seen the stage musical twice and now this musical-movie. It is an amazing production that continues to give life to the struggles of Black women and Black people period in the south. The cast was amazing. The music and vocals were astounding! All sorts of amazing things happened with and through this cast. Bravo!
