“The Way of Water” has $100 million worth of tech but only 25 cents worth of scriptwriting! The story is derivative, hackneyed & predictable. If you’ve seen any family adventure movies, you probably know the plot. The first movie explored what happens when different planetary cultures clash. The sequel is more like a personal grudge match. There’s no insight, vision or suspense to match the original movie. I would rate this movie much lower than 3 had the tech not been so fantastic. See it in IMAX 3D if you can!
