Even if you aren't a fan of "woke" storylines, you almost have to give the showrunners credit for coming up with this one: A systemically-oppressed cross-dressing female sets out to destroy the white male patriarchy with the help of her disabled companion. And the twist? It's *actually* good. Just goes to show what you can accomplish with stunning animation, top-notch writing, and a world class voice cast.
