You can read all good things about the movie in other reviews. This one is a rant.
After all its a movie by Vishal Bhardwaj(VB) and a stellar cast.
Almost each cast can pull the story on their own and make an average stuff, eminently watchable.
Alas, they also painfully remind you that you cannot pull through a movie just by ensembling a cast.
Atul Kulkarni, Aahish Vidyarthi, Lalit Parimoo, Rahul Vohra have nothing more to do except wear suit, sip tea or a drink and at most speak on a phone.
Even Shataf hardly had anything besides looking suave and menacing at same time. Sad to see that these eminent personalities were just added as a prop.
Story is non existent. You scratch your head to justify that someone can just walkin an embassy and say I wish to be a spy for you and gets hired.
A foreign minister murders someone in a party in front of scores of people but it is not a news item anywhere. No followups.
Someone works in an intelligence agency, has access to top secret papers but no one does a basic security check and entry/exit of office. Whats heightens the absurdity is that the mole works as a lone wolf whose only assignment in office is to photocopy top secret papers. Oh yes, he only passes the papers on Mondays.
I watched through the movie only because Wamica Gabbi was fabulous. I was intrigued watching her in Jubilee and she is someone I will go and watch again even if she appears in a trash of a movie. She pulled of an impossible that is being talked about her role in a movie which has Tabu.
