American Mom

(Contains spoiler). This was my least favorite of the three Branaugh Poirot films. The casting was very off and underwhelming with the exception of Kelly Reilly and Jude Hill. This did not feel like a typical Poirot mystery with too few clues and observations to solve the crimes. It never seemed plausible that anyone but the mother could be a reasonable suspect from the start. I felt like this wasn’t a bad movie overall, just not one for an Agatha Christie Poirot fan.
