1. she's a woman
2. she's Jewish
3. she's an immigrant
4. she left no paper trail
Presidents and generals trusted her, respected her. She served in positions that were/are the domain of men. Excoriated by the ultra right, but respected by soldiers, she did her best to improve the lot of average Joe's. She was discreet. She was strong. She believed in the US. We aren't likely to see her kind again.
