Absolutely brilliant. I won't get into why as there are many 5 star reviews who have already said what I would say but what I will get into is the people on here giving negative reviews based on the victim.
You have all missed the point of this series. This is a raw and completely open account of this man's self loathing.
He knows exactly who and what he is and understands his actions were less than appropriate upon reaching his train wreck of pursuing fame. He is showing you what happens when you have absolutely no self respect, what you would do for fame and not even huge fame, just enough to keep that flicker of hope burning so that you 'feel' important in the world of fame..
He's showing you exactly who he is and there were ample times where he explained the reasons why he really didn't see himself as a victim as he was addicted to 'the stalkers' adulation hence why he didn't go to the police and why he kept listening to her messages.
There are so many people who have similar stories that align with the main character. This is the first time I have ever seen this type of story adapted into a series and I think its genius.
We need more of this on our screens that depict true feelings and understanding of one's mind when faced with many issues in life which leads that person down the rabbit hole of 'how far will I go, to get what I want, before I realise there are consequences to my actions', fed up of seeing fluffed over, Hollywood dribe, where the hero always wins. This series is a master piece in my honest opinion.
