I thought the movie was a good movie. It moved well, some surprises, the ending for sure caught me wanting a bit more. I have been at the movies for over 50 years now, so to speak, and this was a better than average war film. I do wish it had been shot in panavision though, as there were some scenes that were borderline blurry. The directing was good, I did not know this fellow did 'Road to Perdition' as well, which was an excellent movie. All in all, I would go see it again, and actually it probably should be seen several times to take it all in. I will be buying a copy when it comes out.

I was 7 years old when this hit television. This was in the day when we actually walked to school, all year long, despite rain or snow. My home was about 2-1/2 miles from my school, and . when we got out at about 3:30, we raced home to watch Diver Dan. By today's standards it might seem hokey, but then it was great. I doubt today, there is a kids show, that kids race home to watch. They are all too busy with their phones.

I went to see this a few weeks ago, and I am a fan of the series. I was ok with there not being a 'last movie' and although there are a few good parts, for the most part the movie should be skipped, like the last 'Expendables' movie. Stallone is in good shape for his age, covers himself well so we don't see any skin but his forearms and head. Nothing like a ' flabby hero'. With me, it is ok at best, and i would have been happy getting it out of the bulk bin at a discount store. Again, everything at the theatre is priced like it is made of gold. What a crock for sure. Save your money, rent it or buy it later and get a bag of chips and a pop.

Went to see 'Joker' today. I really feel thou that the joke is on me, for paying so much to get so little. The violence is brutal, thin story line at best and really, if you want to know the plot, pick up any news paper and see what happened in Toronto in the past week. What gets to me the most I think, is that all of the people and shows that review movies, tell us how 'wonderful' a movie is and how the actor(s) should get an Oscar etc for their performance. What a crock, as I was leaving I heard another person remark that they had just wasted at least $35.00 ( popcorn & a pop for $20.00 in there) to see a movie that they would hesitate buying in a bulk bin. Hollywood standards have slipped once again with a comic book movie, and we as a public, have showed how easily we are fooled into wasting our too hard earned money on a movie.
