This movie is beautifully written and a masterpiece of acting talent. It is an observation of the crossroads between women from different times trying to raise the best man they can with the life experience they have. As they get it wrong and get it right, the product of this is a young man of his time, as answer to the longing of women, creating him as the men they wished they had had, pulling out the details they wanted him to be and helping him forge his identity. This story hits the heartwarming, funny and nostalgic notes so well and let’s us linger in these memories, living in a year of transition, as an era was being ushered in in its place.
