That's 1hr 41mins I'm not getting back. Stark contrast with Chicken Run 1 being timeless and can be re-watched over and over again. Knowing what Aardman can create with the likes of the original and The Curse of the Were-Rabbit, this was a very disappointing film. A very unimaginative plot, severely lacking in the clever humour and visuals we've come to expect from the animation company. Awful decision as well to change a lot of the voice actors meaning the main characters sound nothing like they should.

CGI was a bit off, but if you don't find Ezra Millers portrayal of Barry too annoying, it's a pretty decent movie, especially for WB and DC. Batman, Snyders JL, Man of Steel and Batman v Superman still all top it for me, but I'd still put it on par with Aquaman and Wonder Woman with my enjoyment levels.

What a perfect film, especially when you watch it a second time and can relax from concentrating on the storyline, taking in everything missed first time round!
