I guess it was an ok movie, but it definitely wasn't worth the money I paid. It introduces a character that was really unneeded just for a "scary" moment or two later in the movie. The actors themselves seemed bored and unfocused during scenes and the special effects were pretty bad and some points. The movie just seemed to go on and on and it probably could have been much shorter. John Lithgow played his character well and there was some scary moments but nothing really game changing. I'll also say that there's some good twists but overall you should stick to the original or give this one a try if you really want to.
