This was my story. I thought the depiction of the fear abuse instills and the drive to escape and give your child a better life was done so well. Everybody’s story is different but I remember how hard it was. I also went to school and slowly created a better life. However the abuse cycle is hard to break. It has affected me throughout my life. At 62 I finally have the wisdom but doesn’t mean I couldn’t fall into it again.

I thought what’s this Baby Reindeer Show and when I read the subject I decided to watch since I have dealt with a stalker. I thought this movie(series) was brilliant and honest. It revealed so many aspects of the human condition without judgement. It’s not for everyone but I binged it. I was in the moment of it not trying to figure out anything just experiencing it.

Not a fan of movies using animals but Robert Redford somehow makes it less exploitative. Didn’t like the cow branding scene, since it’s obviously painful and terrifying for them. But I know Robert Redford is all about nature so that made it watchable for me. I cried. Thoroughly enjoyable

Liv rocks this movie. Her fear is palpable. Masked strangers pounding on your door is one of my worst nightmares. I just watched again and it is timeless. Great scary flick
