The book is very clearly biased towards Hamilton, making anyone who opposed him seem like a villain (including Maria Reynolds). Secondly, the book repeats itself over and over. Hamilton could say one thing and it will get repeated in five separate paragraphs before the book moves on. Thirdly, John Laurens is hardly mentioned. For how close the two men were, he should get more than two pages and a few stray mentions.
