I loved the first book in the series and found it quite Enjoyable, I was excited for Sal and Gabi: Fix the Universe but when I read it I was highly disappointed. I'll start with the things that I liked in Sal and Gabi: Fix the Universe I loved the representation as we need more representation for the kids of color, i love the way that Sal is considerate of others feelings and became Yasmany and I love the way that all of Gabi's dads came together and created a spot in their village and made Yasmany feel special and loved, he needed it and I love the message that you can choose and create your own family. The bad parts of Sal and Gabi: Fix the Universe Firstly, I found it extremely disrespectful when Mr. Milagros said that his wife had passed away and that he believed his wife was in Heaven and Gabi said "I don't believe in heaven, but may I hug you?" I found that extremely rude and way out of line with what type of person Gabi is, Gabi in the first book never would have said such a comment and would have respected Mr. Milagros beliefs whether if she were an Atheist or not, speaking of making Gabi an Atheist was totally way out of line and shouldn't have put in the book anyways, and also it feels like the author was pushing the agenda of Scientist don't believe in god because there are scientist that believe in god like me, it would have been better if you didn't put religion into the book at all, the other thing making children simp over each other and putting 'Sexual Being' into this book is extremely weird on the authors part, but these are just my opinions I don't know its just you could have made the book SOO much better if you just didn't put religion or "Love or Dating" thats also putting that into this agenda.
