Read it cover to cover. While I do not disagree with church membership as a whole, I believe this book has furnished no proof of biblical warranting for modern practice of church membership. Though through many references that validate ideas, they do not directly point to a validation of church membership. Furthermore if an act by a church is more intense and has more regulations than the act of our very salvation I think it ought to be reexamined. The last thing I will point out in I believe to be a slough of faults in this book is blatant heresy. Chapter 3, pg 61, 3rd paragraph “likewise, the church’s representative authority in Christ’s kingdom is seen most clearly in its ability to remove a person from citizenship in Christ’s kingdom.”
