I just finished this...and wow, the acting blew me away! Emma Stone was the perfect Cruella De Veil! Such character developments, such mixed emotion, such wickedness! The director and the crew did an amazing job! UGH I give this a 10/10 and would rewatch again. I love everything! Everything makes sense now! I LOVE IT

Let me say this: I am glad they made Triton and Ursula siblings in this remake, because it tied the bad blood between the king and sea witch so properly. If you recall in the original, the idea was brought but later thrown away by creators, which in result made it difficult understand why ursula had so much hatred. Furthermore, the details from prince Eric, to the inner voices of Ariel, I think everything tied so well! I love the small edition to the live action...! However, I might say some of the CGI was kinda iffy, but the acting managed to distract me. I can't wait to watch it again on Disney+
