For context: I grew up playing a little Dynasty Warriors and Samurai Warriors on the PS2. I also played a lot of other games like Halo, Gears of War, Oblivion, WoW, etc. More recently I played Witcher 3. I have to say that Ghost of Tsushima really surprised me and it is now my favorite single player adventure game. It is a perfect mix of art, challenge, and story. I am about 30 hours into playing and still excited to pick up the controller whenever I play. I may be slightly biased with an appreciation of Japanese culture, but it is a game that I think many people would enjoy, and has scaffolding to adjust difficulty and other settings to the player's skill level. Highly recommend.
