Brilliant game but not one for lazy gamers. You are thrown into a fully immersive game which is all about SURVIVAL. You must feed yourself, sleep, craft items, care for members of your clan and cure yourself of any ailments or injuries using items you find. You also need to ensure your species not only survives but EVOLVES. This game does not help you. You’re given the basics at the beginning and then left to your own devices. It is all about trial and error. This game challenges you to actually use your brain and be inquisitive. You unlock neurological connections through examining objects you find all around you. You have the open to try alter the items to see if you can craft anything from them or if they have another use too. These connections can then be locked in for the next generation so as that your species evolves gradually. If you are a gamer who likes having your hand held throughout a game by way of tutorials and help guides then this game is NOT for you. I thoroughly enjoy playing this game. I lose track of time due to how immersive the game is and how enjoyable it is too. I hope the negative reviews do not outweigh the positives. A lot of the negative reviews are from people who are too lazy to actually try. PLEASE release dlc for this game. It is truly one of a kind!
