What a beautiful, inspirational, poignant and uplifting s story! I loved the women, their spunk, courage, love for one another, and their kindness to others, including horses and dogs. How each of them spread their wings in a time when women didn’t have many rights; they stood up for what was good and right, spread their love of reading and learning, and earned the respect of those living in the tiny, isolated burgs in the hills of Kentucky. Plus the love stories that evolved in layers were so very sweet,passionate and tender.
A truly great read- can’t wait to see the movie❤️

Love love love AfterLife! Can’t wait fir the new season. As a widow myself, this show is so relatable and captures the elements, emotional rollercoaster, devastation, and eventual journey through the grief from losing a spouse. It also gives those grieving some hope that the darkness of grieving will slowly evolve into light and a return, albeit vastly different, to a new, different normalcy. This series’ writing and the superb acting by Ricky Gervais are spot on!

The show has become a cheesy mess, with “stars” being a misnomer. I’ve never heard of many of these “stars”.
Worst though is the new host, Tyra Banks.
She fumbles with lines, talks too fast, and her costumes are not flattering, attractive, nor classy. I stopped watching the show, which I’d enjoyed, after listening to her mindless banter and slip ups.
